Kevin Ward, Chairperson

Kevin Ward is a life long fan of hockey. He grew up in Northern VA where he followed the Capitals.  He graduated from the University of Dayton in 1999, where he majored in Communication Management. After school Kevin moved to Colorado where he worked for Service Magic during the week and spent as much time outdoors in the mountains as possible during the weekends.  In 2006 he and his wife moved to Michigan to spend time with her family.  He spends most days talking  hockey, whether it’s with his office job at hockeyworld.com or at the rink during a men’s league game. He is well versed in youth hockey since he has a 2007 birth year Little Caesars player. He understands the time and financial commitment required for the sport.

Robert Perani Jr., President

Robert Perani Jr. was born in Flint, Michigan where he grew up playing hockey. He graduated from the University of Dayton in 1996 and went back to work for his father, Bob Perani, in the family business. After Robert’s mom passed in 2006, he took a bigger role in the daily operations of the business and also took a position on the foundation board, which was named in his mom’s honor, the Kris Perani Hockey Foundation. Robert currently lives in Clarkston, Michigan with his beautiful wife and five children.

Lahna Perani Ward, Trustee

Lahna Perani Ward was born into a hockey family. She grew up in Michigan helping out in the family business, selling hockey equipment. Lahna graduated from the University of Dayton in 2000 and then moved to Colorado where she worked in sports retail.  She and her husband moved to Michigan in 2006. After losing her Mom to lung cancer in 2006, she has dedicated herself to the Kris Perani Hockey Foundation to help other hockey families who might not otherwise be able to enjoy the sport.
