  • Chairperson: Lahna Perani Ward
    Lahna Perani Ward was born into a hockey family. She grew up in Michigan helping out in the family business, selling hockey equipment. Lahna graduated from the University of Dayton in 2000 and then moved to Colorado where she worked in sports retail.  She and her husband moved to Michigan in 2006. After losing her Mom to lung cancer in 2006, she has dedicated herself to the Kris Perani Hockey Foundation to help other hockey families who might not otherwise be able to enjoy the sport.

  • President: Bob Perani
    Bob Perani was born in Italy and moved to Toronto, Canada in 1951 with his family at an early age. He won a scholarship to St. Lawrence University in New York where he graduated in 1966. Bob married Kris in 1967 and started his professional hockey career. He played professionally for the Springfield Americans, Muskegon Mohawks and the Flint Generals. In 1977, Bob and Kris opened Bob Perani’s Hockey Shop, which is now the largest independent hockey retailer in the world. Bob and his family started the Kris Perani Hockey Foundation in memory of his wife of 39 years. He is still an active part of the hockey community and it is his vision to see as many youth hockey players have the same opportunities with hockey as he did himself.

  • Treasurer: Kevin Ward
    Kevin Ward is a life long fan of hockey. He graduated from the University of Dayton in 1999, where he majored in Communication Management. He lived and worked in Colorado until 2006, when he and his wife moved to Michigan.  He is now manager of www.hockeyworld.com, and enjoys playing hockey in a men’s league.  

  • Trustee: Bob Reynolds
    Bob Reynolds is the president and founder of Professional Insurance & Investments in Fenton, Michigan, which serves over 2000 clients.  He has been involved in hockey for years, serving as the past president of Michigan National Hockey League and past director of Players North American Junior Hockey League. He is very committed to the community of Flint and of hockey.  He and his wife, Coralee, have two grown children and four grandchildren that all live in the Flint area.

  • Trustee: Victor Perez

  • Trustee: Larry Davenport
    Larry Davenport has spent his life in the hockey business.  He graduated from Boston University in 1970, where he was the Captain and MVP of the hockey team his senior year.  He coached hockey at the University of Pennsylvania from 1972 to 1976.  For many years he was a sales rep for Bauer and Cooper, before becoming Vice President of Sales at CCM.  Currently he is President of The Hockey Group.
