Chairperson: Kevin Ward
Kevin Ward is a life long fan of hockey. He grew up in Northern VA where he followed the Capitals. He graduated from the University of Dayton in 1999, where he majored in Communication Management. After school Kevin moved to Colorado where he worked for Service Magic during the week and spent as much time outdoors in the mountains as possible during the weekends. In 2006 he and his wife moved to Michigan to spend time with her family. He spends most days talking hockey, whether it's with his office job at hockeyworld.com or at the rink during a men's league game or even playing hockey with his 4 year old son. President: Robert Perani, Jr.
I was born in Flint, Michigan and played hockey growing up. I Graduated from University of Dayton in 1996 and came back to work for my dad, Bob Perani, in the family business. After my mom passed in 2006, I took a bigger role in the daily operations of the business and also took a position on the foundation board named in my mom’s honor, the Kris Perani Hockey Foundation. I currently live in Grand Blanc, Michigan with my five children.

Lahna Perani Ward was born into a hockey family. She grew up in Michigan helping out in the family business, selling hockey equipment. Lahna graduated from the University of Dayton in 2000 and then moved to Colorado where she worked in sports retail. She and her husband moved to Michigan in 2006. After losing her Mom to lung cancer in 2006, she has dedicated herself to the Kris Perani Hockey Foundation to help other hockey families who might not otherwise be able to enjoy the sport.

Mission Statement
The Kris Perani Hockey Foundation is an organization whose goal is to provide hockey players in need with financial assistance. The benefit of sponsoring hockey players in need will strengthen the hockey community and have a positive impact on the chosen nominees and their families. The Kris Perani Hockey Foundation is a public charity under section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
