A Big Thanks goes out to the Mary Lou Lymer Hockey Tournament on their generous donation from their 2011 Las Vegas Tournament. The event was held on August 27th and consisted of a three team format. They reached their fundraising goal for the event and everyone had a great time. We received $2000 which will be used to help those children that would not otherwise be able to play. The Kris Perani Hockey Foundation is extremely grateful for the sponsorship. We look forward to working with them in future events. Stay tuned for a Fantasy Hockey pool that will be starting very shortly! |

On March 4th 2011, the Kris Perani Hockey Foundation hosted their first annual Bowling Fundraiser. This event was held at B's Bowling in Flint MI and we had a great turnout. Steve Brown came up with the idea and did a great job organizing the event. His donated time is very much appreciated. We were able to fill 12 lanes with bowlers for 3 games of 9 Pin-no tap. Everyone in attendance had a good time throughout the night. We held a 50/50 raffle which raised $226. We also had 3 baskets up for auction which raised another $300. In total we were able to raise over $1000 for youth hockey players in need of financial assistance. We plan to make this a yearly event so check back to the site for details of the next event. We want to thank everyone who came out to support the Kris Perani Hockey Foundation. |
